Vietnam-Australia School, Hanoi, commonly known as VAS Hanoi, is a semi-international school in Hanoi, Vietnam. The school was established in pursuant to decision No 1452/QĐ-UBND dated 13 April 2007 of the People's Committee of Hanoi. VAS Hanoi follows the Vietnamese curriculum and academic year calendar set out by the Ministry of Education and Training. Aside from the Vietnamese curriculum, VAS Hanoi also implements the Australian education programs in cooperation with Presbyterian Ladies' College, Sydney and Presbyterian Ladies' College, Armidale. The school offers English-based courses: Global English and Global Commerce which lead to the Australian International School Certificate (AISC). These subjects are taught in English by native English speakers recruited by PLC. These global subjects are designed for VAS Hanoi students by PLC and are based on the New South Wales curriculum. The seven-year program which can be adjusted to accommodate students who enroll during the course.
